Amazing mail.

I got an envelope in the mail today. On the front was written:

"TAP YOUR EQUITY TODAY
BEFORE HOME VALUES DECLINE!"

Inside, there was an offer for a 40 year mortgage from Countrywide.

So they want me to be upside down on my mortgage, then pay so little principal that I will stay upside down for as long as possible.

Is it any wonder that they needed to be bailed out?

ha, that is nothing... our mortgage company, who knows they are holding a fraudulent mortgage - since the mortgage broker is in prison. keeps sending us refi offers even thought if they really looked at our loan it is already about 140% loan to value.
I hate the fact that the Fed is proping up this shady companies, next they will want to bail out the payday loan companies.
